pt 8 Asuncion, 24th July
55 minute run in the darkness with my cursed bloody plimsoles again. Easy enough run..especially so considering I had hardly slept on the bus.
I´m glad that people seem to stare at me less in this city and there are definitely less dogs. Which is FANTASTIC!
Pretty uneventful. Thought I got lost but I didn´t. Stubbed my big toe, but only slightly.
pt 9 Cuidad Del Este, 26th July
Well, running in the city before in Asucion, having just come over on an overnight bus, bloody miles from Salta, having bad food (followed by great food, props to Javier) as usual, then going out for the evening and getting hammered on the top floor of an open air bar till 3am.
Bad idea. I have the flu, swine no. But fever, hallucinations, hacking cough, headache and feeling ill.
Time to convalesce asap!
