Desert Running

September 6, 2009

Pt 6 San Pedro, Chile 20th July

A run with Miguel, a Canadian Colombian dude for 80 mins. Out into the desert, on the soul highway, past the border crossing into a “no man´s land”, it being neither Chile or Argentina. But as we ran and chit chatted much about gym, and weight training (yes I love the conversation!), we had the view of massive plains and stunning mountains that surrounded us.

The train track that we ran past...hmm this is actually Salta...but screw you! Its hard to get shots of your damn self when running, in a foreign country...and ALONE! So stop laughing....

For the time until it got dark, we got lost on the way back, barked at in the dark by some crazy dog, it was beautiful. Even on a straight road we managed to get lost re entering the city via the growing ghetto.

Of course we proceeded to get smashed on wine after, but still a worthwhile run!
