The Bank of America Chicago Marathon is the pinnacle of achievement for elite athletes and everyday runners alike. On Sunday, October 11, 2009, 40,000 runners from all 50 states and more than 100 countries will set out to accomplish a personal dream.

The route

Deepak Shukla of London and India, a 23 year old graduate trainee, fresh from South America will provide Britain with an admirable ambassador. A first time marathon runner of Deloitte and Touche LLP, Deepak is doing his utmost to train while out on the roads of La Paz en route to Beunos Aires back to London, Brighton and then off to the US.
